242x USB boot?
I have a Travelmate 242x. The BIOS boot list includes "removable
device", so I'm wondering if I can boot from a USB memory stick (updated USB drivers needed?). Thanks -- http://clients.teksavvy.com/~echapin |

im using Hardy 8.04.
The system works great, except when i try to use my DVD drive. If I load a disk and try to copy files off of it, my system gets really slugish. Really slugish. And if I try to play a audio cd, same thing. Ive never seen anything like this before. Any help? |
