Default Keep your paperwork

Eighteen months ago we bought two Gateway PC package deals from Costco
that came with 21" flat screen monitors. One of the monitors has started
taking 30 to 45 minutes to come on in the morning. After powering on,
unplugging, plugging back in, etc., it will work fine, but who has 45
minutes to fiddle-fart around getting your computer up and running. Anyway,
when I called Gateway I was told that it was out of warranty. I told them I
knew it had to two year warranty, but they told me I didn't. I dug around
in my files and found the warranty and sure enough, it was a two year. I
called them back and now they are going to send us a new monitor. Moral to
the story--keep your warranty paper, you might need it.
