My M700 Battery

My battery was good for 45 minutes until I downloaded the compaq power
management from the compaq xp drivers site. When I hit the calibrate
button
the battery started to charge for about 5 minutes then my laptop shut
down.
Now it only boots on AC. The battery indicator shows a 100% charge but
will not boot on battery power at all. Could someone give me some help
on what happened to my battery and how I can reverse this. Thanks in
advance for any help. P.S I also downloaded the compaq battery test
app and when I hit the test button nothing happens and the app just
closes. Thank god I still have AC.

Uh, have you tried uninstalling the power management software?

Yes I uninstalled all of the crappy compaq software.
