Default best way to get large text font on to television?

I just want a keyboard to put text up on a
TV for a hearing impaired person. The old
Commodore 64s seem perfect but I don't
know if you can adjust the type size and if
the fonts are easy to read. I thought about
a WebTV but apparently you can't adjust
font size.

Thanks Thanks : -)
