Best laser printer brands?

I need to buy a laser printer for home use. I haven't bought one in
about 10 years so I don't really know what is on the market these days.
But before I dust off the wallet, I am doing a bit of research. So, I
have one basic question for this group to start with.

Which home laser printers are considered the best when considering
features, performance, usability and reliability?

I have the Samsung ML-2152W , it's fast, 2 side print capabilities, 8000
page toner, wireless, Ethernet and USB connectivity. I love it! It cost me
about $300 at eBay, in a brand spanking new condition. I believe it's now
being replaced by a higher model.

What do you really need in a laser?

Color?
Duplex?
Any particular speed?
Photo-quality output?

What is "usability" supposed to mean? You plug it in, you
press "print" in an appliation... it either does that fine
or it's not very useable.

What do you need so far as "reliability" goes?
I have a dozen year old HP laserjet that has over 200K pages
on it, cost well over $1000 new. No repairs... very
reliable. I have a Samsung 2010 I paid $40 for after
rebate, I'm quite sure it won't last 200K pages but I don't
care, all that mattered was that they didn't microchip it to
require a whole new toner cartridge instead of just
refilling with bulk toner at a fraction of the cost.
