Default Remote Hardware Inventory Software

Hey all!

I'm looking for a piece of software that would allow me to remotely
scan PC's for all hardware components (CPU, Memory, PCI slots, mobo,
etc) and give me a report of it.

Preferably the software would work without a client side piece
installed on each remote machine and preferably it's freeware or
relatively inexpensive.

Thanks in advance!

Yes and no. That is the type of report that I want, but I need to run
it from a single location and pull reports on multiple machines out on
my network. Also, something that could dump the reports to one
location would be great.

The network I am on runs Belarc from a central location. I am on a military
network. They installed the Belarc client on the computers over the LAN.
Now, if you try to run Belarc, the report doesn't show locally. So, Aida32
to the rescue for individual computers.

maybe give Lansweeper Hardware Inventory a try, in our company it runs in an environment with over 70 servers and it seems to do its job just fine (also, it works without a client, something which is crucial for our server environment offcourse....)
