Default P4P800 sound driver problem

Can anyone help?

I have a P4P800 with a sound problem. I am using XP and have constant blue
screens with DRIVER_IRQ1_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and the offending program is
smwdm.sys

I am using the SoundMAX Audio Driver version 5.12.01.3630 WHQL
I tried turing down the hardware acceleration but that didn't help.

Is there any fix for the problem??

I downloaded a later driver, 3713 from the Asus ftp site, but was unable to
install it. It keep saying driver not found reboot, didn't matter how many
times I rebooted, it just would not install.

If anyone has any idea please post them, I getting tried of reboots.

Thanks in advance
Freddy T
