Default 12v fan for NV 5600?

Hello,
I just bought a nvidia 5600XT. the fan is really noisy! I would like to
put plug it that fan into the fan power cable of my Antec Tru-Power power
supply like my old video card fan. is it a 12v fan, or a 5 volt fan? It
now has the stock fan that plugs into the card itself.

Thanks,

Robert

Please tell us what brand you purchased. Not all fans are exactly the same
from the different vendors.

Ok,
it's a Sparkle 5600XT Nvidia card with a fancy silver 'noisy' fan on it that
plugs onto the video board itself. That is what confused me. I was not
sure that there was even 12v actually on the board and it if plugged into
the header on the card, it may be a 5 v.
