$33 for a 256G. Cheapest presence, rather a Kingston which
specifically means 3-yr domestic US warrantee. Maybe an 800 Kingston no. with a human to answer. No DRAM buffering, old rebadged Toshiba memory, old Pison controller. Material is total bottom of the barrel. Yet... Huge sales volume for #1 question - 'will it fit my xyz brand laptop'? That's $15 for effectively, each for a 125G SSD at twice the volume. Right now to get by. Yep - that is indeed plenty cheap enough. Add together two 256G units, however, for approaching $70, and there the 512G Samsumg, which does on occasion hit the sales price of $80. And it's bad to boot. TBW is 40 80 160 on Adata 128, 256, 512G models. That may be 80G every day for one year writing to the 256G, or 26G daily for the 3-yr-returnable warranty life - however that works from SDD failure with 79TBW on the 35th month it is returned. Nobody can write that much daily _needs_ to be the 99.point.9-th question (though there will be invariably maybe a percentage of percent that buy a $33/256G Adata and will write that heavily). Still, Samsung may be approaching 400TBW/5yr warranty - with everything else about it made flat-out superior. At a difference for a 512G unit, about $15 additionally, for the Samsung quality. Quality to be surely committed that you can, each and every day for the next five years, write 80G of data to your SSD. Yes indeed. |

This morning the A400/256G is on Amazon for 13BP less than you paid at the conversion rate of USD1.2982 £38.41*1.2982 $49.863862 $33/1.2982 25.4198120475*1.2982 US/33.0000000001 38.41-25.4198120475 12.9901879525 There's also huge amount of accompanying happy reviews also listed. Been awhile since I called Kingston, an except among computer products. Assuming I still can, that does mean a lot, customer surety, far more than a direct quality-grade competitor for component comparison, matrices of performance, regard, amongst industrial terms and standards across a present complexity for SSD assemblies. |

Western Digital, unless its an Enterprise client, will not provide that information, nor do some others in the field, variously to guard against revealing or identifying published material specifications. Unless someone else disassembles to reveal what's inside a unit or why, exactly, they're not sure. |
