Default Central Brain Identifier

I just wanted to point out an easy way in which to identify various
attributes of your CPU. The app called _Central Brain Identifier_ seems
to be a pretty handy way to get your cpu specs along with the production
code. Just nice to not have to remove your HSF in order to see your
specs. It can be downloaded at this address:

Well, my XP1800+ Tbred running at 10.5 x 200 is identified as
"AXDA2600DKV3D" as an OPN number when in fact it's a AXDA1800 DUT3C.

It correctly identifies the CPU only if it's not overclocked. Very
similar to CPU-Z.

OK, just de-overclocked it - and it shows OPN .... just a shame it doesn't
show the week and stepping.
Still a nice little app.

try wcpuid http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA002.../download.html
it gives you a lot of useful information and the program does not actually
install on your system
