What are the differences between the FX5700 / FX5700 LE / FX5700 Ultra

As I saw in Tom's hardware guide the Ultra's ones are faster but found no
info regarding the LE series.
Also what are the XT series mean (I know they are slower) ?

How can I know what I buy ?

Thanks,
Tal

i have the Ultra, it is higher clocked, and has DDr2 or GDDR3 mem. which
is way faster. i have the eVGA with DDr2 i would wait until the GDDR3
come out and then buy that one. in fact new egg.com has the gainward
model already with GDDR3.

AFAIK the LE are the same as the non-ultra but with slower RAM, the XT are
underclocked and similar to the LE, the Ultra is the higher performance
version.

Order of power:

1st = Ultra
2nd = plain (but about the same as a 5600Ultra)
3rd = LE, but it can vary
4th = XT = slow, perhaps a little faster than a 5200.

Which should you get? Hmmmm

A 5700Ultra is the ONLY one of the 5700s you should get, otherwise a
$110 5600Ultra is next in line. But if you're going to pay $175 for
a 5700Ultra (mail oder) - you might as well get the 5900xt which
smokes it... and costs $180.

But at that price... the ATI9800Pro starts looking good at $190~200.

(all these are online prices at www.pricewatch.com )

Note: I have 2 gaming systems with simular setup (1 CPU is 200Mhz
faster) - My ATI runs FarCry with AA, 1280x1024 with all settings on
SUPPER HIGH.... it is easily smother than my 5900 (which is slightly
faster than the 5900xt) at 1024x768 with settings on HIGH. And yes,
there is a visual difference. When I got my MSI 5900, it was $300.

Wish I could have these prices

In Israel I can get the cards at these prices (Include VAT tax):
5700le starting at $115
5700 at $135
ATI9800se at $210
5700 Ultra at $210
5900xt at $210
And the ATI9800pro at $300.

$200 is a bit too much for me right now, but it seems for me that the best
buy at this price is the 5900xt
I currently have FX5200.
I just finished FarCry, and I don't think I'll play it again.
I mostly play BF1942. Won't 5700 be enough for this one ?

Well... cant help you there... lots of us go by US prices, sometimes
Canada and British currancy - buy they post that too

But the pricing your printing is kinda clost to USA prices... But the
PRO is way to expensive - Perhaps it will go down? If not soon, get
the $210 5900xt - hands down. Thats what I would get in your shoes.

Far cry must have SUCKED on that 5200... it looks great on a better
card.

The prices I have seems to be about 10% highr then USA ones (On most of the
cards), but the selleries here are much lowers :-(

Actually ot lookes real cool, even though most of the settings where on
medium (Like shadow), and some of them where on super high. I also noticed
that changing some of the settings (Like graphis details) from medium to
super high had verry little effect on performance
