Default Promise Ultra 100

Hello,

I've got a Problem with my Promise Ultra 100 with one Samsung Sv1203N
atached to each channel. Sometimes when I boot the Promise detects only
the second disk, when I reboot it detects both. Can somebody help?

Thank you

Weak PSU?

I don't think so. Its a 300W PSU, and there are only 3 disks and a
cd-drive and a pentium 2 400

What happens if you swap HDs? If the same channel fails, more likely the
problem is in the controller (you might want to consider using the more
reliable channel, as master + slave). If the other channel fails, more
likely the problem is in the HD.

I've already done this. The disk on the first channel fails. There are
only two disks, each as master at one channel.

If a quick boot is used the drives might not be ready in time. Enabling the memory test might provide enough of a delay for both drives to become ready before they are polled.

You think the same as I thought. Before I posted here, I've changed these.

Thank You
