Default Connecting two fans to run of the one 12volt molex connection this possible ?

I've got 5 fans daisy chained to one controller knob, on my Zalman.

Just is i'am getting a Vantec NXP-205-SL fan controler, but its only
got 4 fan controlers on it.

The two fans i want to link are my two rear exhast fans, as they
should be working as ONE fan anyway.

Just like to know, wish their was a plug that i could use, so i didn't
have to do the wiring myself.

Thanks.

I take it it only has one knob ?

If i have two connected to one knob on my Vantec Nexus, would that be
ok, i think the maxium is 18watts for one knob

I just want to connect 2 80mm fans to the one knob.

Thanks.

Just one Zalman CPU fan to another knob. Other two knobs and two switches
are empty. Started out this way because out of all the 4 to 3 pin adaptors
I bought, only one worked (it was missing the speed sensor wire and the case
fans are not equipped with sensors). But, I like this arrangement better
because I only have to turn two knobs to go from quiet to jet-engine-loud.
It would suck to have to turn 4 knobs and flick 2 switches, every time.

I suppose.

I'am thinking of getting the Vantec Nexus

It lights up BLUE WOW.

Its got all the cables, 4 of them, Big molex to micro molex
converters, thats what i need, well for all my case fans, two rear,
one front, and maybe a side, top and bottom fan, now that i know i can
connect more than one to a knob

But also i want to connect my Vid card fan and my CPU fan to a knob,
the diagram i saw on the site, has a passthough cable to allow it to
connect to the cpu fan, looks cool.

Just got to figure out what fans to connect to what knobs.

I was also thinking of hooking the fans upto on off swtiches as well,
so i can turn all the fans off if i want, but not for the cpu fan,
wont tempt fate their.

I was thinking getting some of those fighter plane switches you know
the ones you flick up to allow you access to the switch

All i need is some audio mod that says STEALTH MODE ACTIVATED HE HE.

Also some of those Knight rider Kit strobe lights and some neon
lights, and i can have a REAL geek out of a pc.

Ive already got my cordless, mouse and keyboard.

Ive gone on TOOO much, time to stop,........... Someone please stop
me.

Bye.

Usually, around 0.5Amp (x12V = 6Watts)

Anyway, I don't think this applies. If it did, my controller would be toast
right now (5 fans, would be about 25-30Watts on one channel!). I don't
believe that the Wattages combine to make a 'grand total' except where the
PSU is concerned. Been awhile since I took physics. But, I don't think
it's cumulative. More, rather, what ever the highest wattage in the chain
is.
