Dell Latitude D610 keyboards
Has anyone else noticed that the keys on the Dell Latittude D610 are
notoriously easy to pop off? I assume that I can put a new keyboard in the notebook. Is that true? |

Is that true? I've had several of those and I don't recall the keyboards being any problem at all, but maybe I'm just lucky. Call Dell spare parts and get a replacement. Should be under $30 w/shipping. 1-800-357-3355 Instructions to replace it: http://support.dell.com/support/edoc...ard.htm#999636 Stew |

Ignore the link above. Here is the correct link for un/re-install of the keyboard: http://support.dell.com/support/edoc....htm#wp1111863 And yes, the D-series keyboards seem a little flimsy to me. My D600 at the office is having odd problems at the moment as well (though the keys are intact). Stew |
