Default Catalyst 3.9 doesn't show hibernate screen on Windows XP

Hi,

I've upgraded my ATI Catalyst drivers on my Radeon 9500 Pro system to
3.9 and now I have a black screen when I hibernate Windows XP. It
still works but nothing is displayed. Switching back to 3.8 or before
fixes it, so I wondered if anyone else is having this problem? (resume
works perfectly)

Should I downgrade?

Cheers.
