ATA-100
I heared that rate of transmission of files in HDD with ATA-100 is 100
MB/s but I tried this and measured its speed about 4 MB/s. Which is correct and why?

Transfer over the bus interface is 100MB/s. You were probably
reading small blocks, and incurring a rotational delay on each block. Or maybe doing real short stroke random.
