In my experience, the loudest of the fans is the rear fan, at the top of the
cabinet behind the CPU(s).

I've often considered finding a quieter replacement, but never got around to
it. My P-3000 is in the basement, so it's not that much of an issue.

Hi,
i use my proliant 3000 very well, but the machine is so loud. Is there a
way to control the fans?

Best Regards
