Haven't used thta combo, but do use the 98 Pro and the TV-PVR2 (USB2
version) with Beyond TV. Couple of small quirks, but truly a fantastic setup. Tom "AmericanPsycho" wrote in message ... Anyone have this combo ? Problems ? Success ? Will be setting up a homebrewn Tivo using Beyond TV. Thanks. |

thanks - i thought about the USB version, but thought performance wise it
would be better going the card route. it would be running on my main pc for now, P4 3.2, 4GB DDR400, (4) 160GB SATA drives, until i could move it to its own box. the usb would probably work fine, but back in the day, i always had issues. thanks again for the reply. I'm thinking about getting a 9600 Pro and a Huappage 250 or PCTV deluxe instead of the AIW setup. I don't need TV on my PC except to record. These driver issues are driving me away. I like the idea of a USB2 connection. |

I don't have PVR digital cable, just standard cable. The USB2 version is
plenty fast, even for the highest quality (be careful, though, many store still have the older USB version). Tom "casino_boy" wrote in message om... "Sharky" wrote in message ... It's a problem. You need a way to change the channel. See if you digital
box has a serial port.
