Default problems with monitor

Uh, a "4-year-old" PII??? Unlikely. Maybe a 14-year old. PIIs are 1996-97
vintage processors.

Take the monitor and try it on a notebook computer or another computer. Try
another monitor on your computer. Your symptoms can be due to the monitor
or the video card in the computer. Also, check the pins in the video cable.
A bent or loose pin can be the culprit, too.
