Default Driver for Texas Instruments Microlaser 4/win?

Hi everybody!

Does anybody have a driver for this printer? Would like to test run it
with Win98SE.

Thanks in advance,

Andre

See http://www.tallygenicom.com/drivers/ti.htm
and that leads you to
http://www.tallygenicom.com/support/technotes/ti/ti-win4-01.htm
"Reports indicate that the Win/4 drivers may cause conflicts with
Windows 98 Power Management. Customer reports indicate that disabling
Advanced Power Management appears to resolve these issues....The WPS
drivers found on the TallyGenicom site are the only drivers that will
function with the Win/4."

Hi Alan!

I found this, but there is no driver on these web sites.
I do not need power management.
Is there any source for the driver? Just want to give it a try.

Best regards,

Andre

On the first page above, http://www.tallygenicom.com/drivers/ti.htm,
if you look down the page there are links for
"·Legacy· microLaser Win/4", and there the "Drivers" link takes you to
http://www.tallygenicom.com/drivers/ti/ti-mlwin4-drv.htm
where there are English drivers at
ftp://ftp.tallygenicom.com/pub/genicom/drivers/ti/ti_ml-win4_eng.exe
and German at
ftp://ftp.tallygenicom.com/pub/genicom/drivers/ti/ti_ml-win4_ger.exe

I don't have this printer so I haven't tried them. But from the
documentation, I think these are your only choices. If they don't work
(they were originally for Win 3.1 and Win95), you have a doorstop. The
note above means you may have to turn power management off to use
them.
