Default AGP Implementation

I've been told that the nForce2 chipset hasn't properly implemented AGP. As
a result many video cards will fall back to PCI mode.
Is this right? Can anyone point me to more info on this please?
Any idea if the Matrox P750 card is one of those affected?

Nope - absolute rubbish.

Your Matrox card should work just fine in an A7N8X.
