Default A7N8X - Deluxe and Sata drivers

Thanks, but that was the first thing I tried, with the latest version as
well as that one on the CD, still no joy. But thanks for the suggestion.

I have installed Win XP and 2k on my SATA drive, (Boot drive), by

hitting
F6 to
install the SATA 3112 Driver from disk (ver 1.0.47). Everything works

great,
except, Win XP shows the SATA controller as a Raid Drive with a Yellow

question
mark. The SATA applet is in Control Panel, but, won't let me open the

flash tab
(no biggie). When I try to Update the driver for the Raid Drive device,
(Advanced settings- SCSI/Raid controller), my system BSOD's on reboot

and
reboots itself. I currently have Bios 1005.002 and PCB Rev. 2.00

Any suggestions??

You could try going to the device manager, and going to the place with the
yellow questionmark. rightclick and choose install driver, and choose the
silicon images driver off of where you had it to install windows xp. (My
mobo didn't come with a floppy that had the drivers on them, so I had to
jerryrig me a floppy with drivers which I got from the mobo CD. I don't

know
if my floppy is the same as the one that was supposed to come with it, but
it worked). Maybe windows had a problem recognizing where the drivers were
located if you took the floppy out before windows loaded or something. I
don't know, but I'd try what I said. I think I had that same issue, and I
did that and it resolved my lil' yello' question mark.
