Default New CD drive

I have an old PB with a 680 board running a Pentium MMX processor. Recently I
had to replace the CD drive. New one worked fine until I tried to use the
master restore disc. Upon boot of the floppy I get a message that it can not
find the CD drive. Any suggestions aa to problem and solution would be
appreciated.

You can check Electors PB YAHOO GROUP
and that will tell you what to do
or---
I need the to know the new CDROM you are using
Model name etc and /or the dos driver if one was
supplied and/or a zipped copy of any floppy that
came with the new CD
I also need to know the restore floppy # 14XXX
or the version number of floppy on boot

Thank you for help.
The new drive is a 56x Max which came with a floppy. I did not install driver
since this was not needed with Windows95. The original CD drive which I removed
was a LTN 262.

My floppy restore is142697-02.( Version V6.0P) The accompanying CD master is
marked CD-175420-01.

Hi Bill:

all there and are just an email (post) away.

It was Metronids great knowledge of restore disks. But I appreciate knowing
everything worked out ok.
