New CD drive
I have an old PB with a 680 board running a Pentium MMX processor. Recently I
had to replace the CD drive. New one worked fine until I tried to use the master restore disc. Upon boot of the floppy I get a message that it can not find the CD drive. Any suggestions aa to problem and solution would be appreciated. |

Thank you for help.
The new drive is a 56x Max which came with a floppy. I did not install driver since this was not needed with Windows95. The original CD drive which I removed was a LTN 262. My floppy restore is142697-02.( Version V6.0P) The accompanying CD master is marked CD-175420-01. |
