Default Max Chip in a Jetway 663AS Motherboard

A little off the beaten track... ( sorry ) but im at a loss.. I have a
Jetway 663AS ultra/pro motherboard running bios version 03... and a 650
Duron Chip.. im trying to upgrade the bios to the latest version to see if
it will run with a faster chip, say a athlon 2000 or similar .. all
attempts at upgrading the bios have proved fruitless ( been using
awdflash.exe and trying bios 663ASA15.bin ) and it tells me some strings
dont match !!!!!! being a total non techie im beat... So please is it
possible to just 'bung' a bigger chip in with no bios updates ???

HELP !!!!!!!

Thanx in anticipation
