Prosignia 300 with embedded ethernet card
I have a prosignia 300 compaq with a pentium 75. The prosignia have a
embedded ethernet controller. When I watch the bios I see a strange address. Such like Port address: 0xC0000 - 0xEE000. I will load a driver but it doesn't work. I will install lantastic 6.0 and load the following driver: LOADHIGH NEX000 16-BIT IRQ=10 IOBASE=300 But I think the address of the embedded ethernet controller is not 300. How can I do this??? Best Regards, Gerrit |

NEX000 sounds more like a generic Novell NE1000/2000 ISA Board driver? AFAIR the PS300 uses an onboard version of the Netflex or Netelligent card, but I didn't power up mine on for a while. http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/fi.../us/index.html But I think the address of the embedded ethernet controller is not 300. How can I do this??? It can't be 300h because its either an EISA but more likely a PCI device. Both use totally different adress ranges, 300h is an ISA boards adress range. Try to use the PS300 drivers supplied by HP/Compaq: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/fi...load/7696.html http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/fi...load/7694.html Gereon |

If it has the AMD PC-Net, try the drivers Compaq supplies for the Deskpro/XL line. There may be Lantastics drivers out there for the AMD Lance PCI?
