Default Drivers Help

I am running a GA 7N400L1 mobo and on gigabyte site it gives you a nvidia
patch download, do I need to install this patch and also what chipset driver
version am I running as I installed the one that come with the mobo and on
the site they have 2.41, how do I find out and do I need to update to 2.41
