Default Memory running at correct speed?

Hi

I've got two 256MB DDR266 PC2100 running in Dual Channel. When the first
screen appears after I've switched the PC on, it states that the memory is
running at 133Mhz with Dual Channel.

Does this mean that the memory is only running at half its speed and if so,
which settings do I need to change? My Mobo is an A7N8X Deluxe and my CPU is
an AMD ATHLON XP1900 266Mhz 256cache CPU - Palomino.

Thanks for your attention and help you can give me.

no the mem is at the right speed...that is why it is called DDR..133
translates to 266 FSB.

That is what it should say Dave, your ram is running at the correct
speed. The memory is accessed twice per clock cycle so double the 133
and it is running at 266.

Does this mean that the memory is only running at half its speed and if so,
which settings do I need to change? My Mobo is an A7N8X Deluxe and my CPU is
