It means that the file is faulty. On a homemade CD-ROM, it means that
the disc was not well written and has at least one unrecoverable error -
in that file.

Thanks.

Is there a chccker in Nero 6 to make sure that the source file is
correctly written and copied to cd-r disk or dvd-r disk?
If so, what should I click??? I copying mpg files.

I am using a 650 meg. cd-rw Maxwell disk.

I put around 630 megs. of mpg file(s) on to the disk.
Is that too much for it to work for erasable disks???

Is put just less than 600 megs. better for a successfully
written disk???

I also have problem accessing the file.
Like the cd drive light blinks a long time before the files
appear and when you do copy them the error message appears.
This happens not just on one Maxwell disk I have but all 3 of them.
Does the program which I erase the disk affect it?
Since I used Nero Program to write on one computer and
Prassi Cd software to erase the same disk on another computer.
My Nero program is on a Win xp computer.
My Prasse Cd software is on a Windows 98 computer.
Should I be using the Nero 6 progrsm to erase my disks instead???
I always do a full erase BTW.
BTW what is the usefulness/purpose of quick erase if it doesn't
erase everything???

Thanks.
