Default proliant 3000 proc?

Hi everybody.

I'm looking to put in a second proc in my 6/300-3000.
Is it possilbe to put in a 333Mhz and strap it to 300Mhz?
Can I put in any slot1 300Mhz with the right stepping and voltage?

thanks,
Mike
