Default SATA and Promise

Is there anyway to use the SATA headers on the A7N8X and use a Promise ATA
card at the same time?

Thanks

Yeah.

But you'll probably have to boot off of the Promise.

That should probably read: "You'll probably have to boot from something
other than the onboard SATA controller"

In other words one can't benefit from the SATA as a boot drive in
combination with a promise card. You gotta go back to good old IDE when you
want to boot from SATA.
It's just the way it is. I've had the same 'problem' (same board) and search
everything on the net, went to my reseller etc.
