Old 3D Rage 2 as second monitor on XP. msvcrt.dll errors
I dug out an old Rage2 with TV-out when I got a second Dell monitor for
free. I just wanted to expand my desktop. No games... this is at work. Windows XP recognized and installed the card and monitor, but now I get errors when I try to access the video properties by right-click on desktop. If I go through the control panel I can call up the display panel, and set which monitor is where, and which is the primary monitor, but can't click on the "advanced" tab without the same errors. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Does anyone else have an old RAGE2 running a second monitor on XP? The ATI website says to just use the drivers on the XP disk.
