Default Heatsink and Fan

Would a heatsink and fan from a Cyrix 166 Mhz Slot 7 CPU work with a Pentium
233 MMX Slot 7 CPU?

It should be fine. Use some sort of thermal grease and you shouldn't have
any problems.

It should be close enough to supporting the heat of the CPU, and it's the
same socket, so usually, yes it'll work.

Exceptions might be some overly large 'sinks like the OEMs used, that
extend past the socket itself and so are blocked by some other motherboard
components.
