Default CPU id program

Is there a program that will identive a CPU, exsample 2600xp overclocked to
3000xp. Program will tell me its a 2600xp?

I think cpuid just reads what the bios says, so it depends on what
motherboard is being used. On my K7S5A board cpuid can not tell that my cpu
is overclocked and the "Name String" reports the AMD rating that the bios
seems to give it at boot up not its actual rating. Whereas on my A7V333 it
states the correct name string (that the bios also gives).
