GA- K8NF-9 (rev 1.x) e HD SATA II
Hi everyone. :-)
I've to change the internal hard disk of my PC. I've seen on eBay an "Hard Disk Caviar Green Western Digital 1 TB 64mb 7200rp" at good price (here in Italy). Do you know if there are any problems to use SATA II discs on this motherboard which support directly only the first kind of SATA? Around in the web I've read that nForce4 chipset can be somehow incompatible with SATA II. Thanks a lot in advance for the support... ;-) Bye |

But WD SATA drives with 3Gb/s transfers can be jumpered to a max of 1.5 Gb/s. You would think that would do it. |
