Default eVGA Step-Up Program - What a Crock!

WTF is up with this? I get the eVGA 7900 GT CO Superclock, and like the idea
of the 90 day step-up program. They come out with the Signature Series, and
say that they don't plan on offering it as part of the step-up program. So
what is the point of buying a high-end card if you can't step-up?

If you buy a Signature Series card...you can step up to another Signature Series
product.

I stepped up from a 7800GT CO to a 7900GT CO Superclock and I couldn't more
pleased with the program. Who else lets you essentially use a video card for 3
months and then lets you send it back for full cash value towards a better one?

People can find a way to complain about anything I guess...

Well, I saw no disclaimer about exclusion of Signature Series products. Now
there is... hmmm.

What I want to know is - where are the returned cards ending up? Is
there a place to get a good deal on the ones traded in as refurbs?

Every time you trade in a card, God kills a kitten (or two kittens if it's a
dual-slot...

Jokes aside, the traded cards may be feeding eVGA's warranty program. They
may also be repackaged and unloaded on eBay as "new" cards.
