Need USB 2.0 drivers but can't d/l SP1a to get em - HELP!

Hello. I have been able to get USB 2.0 working on my WinXP-Pro PC by
doing the following;

1. Go to the device manager properties and find the USB Devices and go
to the "update driver" option and choose the automatic update from the
internet. This should install a new driver.

2. After that, disconnect your USB device and restart your computer.

3. Next, CONNECT YOUR USB DEVICE ON A DIFFERENT USB PORT and it should
work.

This worked for me and hope it helps.

They had to remove it for legal reasons (microsoft legal action)..
I guess you wonder why "FireWire" was labled as that when they
decided to
charge a large fee for a company to use the name, that's why we all

OK, I am in downtown OZ and I guess it is possible that we get the
drivers
on our ASUS support CDs where other parts of the world can`t.
I did a very quick googlie search for them and I get this site, which
I
might add, I have been using for years.
