MEW-AM motherboard usb pinout
I have a motherboard from an HP XL-761. The board has MEW-AM stenciled in
big letters between two of the PCI slots so I believe this is an Asus MEW- AM board. The board matches the one shown in the Asus manual for the most part, the floppy and IDE headers are positioned differently. There are also four pins sticking up from the board labeled USB V1. In the original case these were attached to the front panel USB port. I have moved the motherboard to an Antec Plusview 1000 AMG case and I would like to use one of the front panel USB ports on the Antec case. The problem I have is that I can't find anything telling me which pin is what. The +5 volt pin would be easy enough to find with a volt meter but how can I figure out the other 3 pins? I would appreciate any help. |

The other two will be data, try them one way, if that doesn't work, try the other way round. |
