I am using EVGA one. No major problems. I did run into an issue with its
TV out, but I got it resolved (not really sure how -- just more cabling
fiddlings, playing with driver options, etc.).

Same card, different manufacturers. You can safely pick ANY of them.

I safely picked the BFG. Didn't need random games, did need two VGA
adapters.

I'm expecting a lot from this video card. It cost about as much as
my mainboard and Opteron 152 CPU combined.

And so it should. Despite what Intel's marketing department would like to
hear, the video card makes the biggest difference in game performance. The
mainboard and CPU are all secondary. In fact, in pure game machines (i.e.
consoles), where legacy design isn't a consideration, the CPU usually
doesn't even get direct access to RAM; it has to go through the GPU.
