Posted hwere a few days ago with a problem with my Video card, Radeon 9200,
Crashing when playing 3D games. Initially came to the conclussion that it
was probably the PSU. Switched PSU to a new ThermalTake PurePower 480W. Same
problems. After reading another post I thought that I may have an IRQ
problem. Here is a list of the Sharing/Conflicts as reported by Msinfo32.

I/O Port 0x0000D000-0x0000DFFF RADEON 9200

As you can see, My sound card is sharing IRQ 19 w/ my video card. could this
be my problem? If so can the IRQ be changed without moving the sound card to
another slot. I don't have any experience with I/O port ranges and DMA
settings. Could someone look at these and see if there are any other
problems? TIA for any help.

oops. That would be video. Ruled out the IRQ issue. I moved the sound card.
Still having this problem. I just read somewhere that the Radeon 9200(and
the 9000 it replaced) is only DirectX 8.1 compliant. I have installed
DirectX 9a. I wouldn't think this would cause a problem. Anyone have any
thoughts on this? if it is the problem is there a way to uninstall DirectX
back to 8.1 TIA
