A7N8X DeLuxe ver 1.04 - Will I have any benefit for new 3.13 driver?
Will I gain performance or safety if I use the new 3.13 driver instead of
the official ASUS driver for my A7N8X DeLuxe ver 1.04? I'm not using onboard sound or onboard SATA. I am using onboard LAN, and onboard IDE-controllers. I'm not sure if this new driver can do anything for me when not using sound and SATA. -- Mvh Sven |

I've recently updated to 3.13, and the main benefit is in the IDE
driver, because the benchmarks show now an increase in transfer rate. That's all I can tell you. My board revision is same as yours. get an AMD 2500+ Barton (333 FSB ... and up...snicker) ... they are the
current "value" overclockers. BUT... Beware, if you are planning on overclocking, shop for a chip produced prior to week 39 of '03. More recent chips are reported as "locked". good luck.
