Anybody else lose OpenGL hw acceleration since 3.8+ came out?
Card - 9700 Pro 128MB
Drivers ===== 3.4 No problems 3.6 I can do OpenGL, but the apps crash after you exit (no big deal, but stupid in any case.) 3.7 ditto 3.8 All OpenGL applications crash on startup 3.9 All OpenGL applications crash on startup This is very weird and irritating. Anybody ever run into this problem before? WTH

It turns out that the video BIOS needed updating.

I think there is a patch for 3.9 to fix that
