What is the new one and what was the old one? I'm not trying to be funny. I
just got my board
the other day, I don't have it in a case yet, Waiting for it to come in Wed.
My chip just says
AC97 Audio Codec, and the book says 6 Channel Audio.

The Realtek audio codec in a Rev. 2 board is an ALC658, use to be a ALC655
II

The SYS_FAN header was moved from the bottom of the board to the front
near SATA0_SB.

The board revision number location has moved from near the middle by
the GA-8KNXP logo to the bottom near the IR_CIR header.

Revision 2 boards were first shipped with BIOS version FB dated 08/12/03
(MM/DD/YY).
The BIOS has been updated several times since then. The latest BIOS is FG
dated 12/25/03.
