ATI 9800 non pro ns ?

Hercules 3D Prophet 9800 128MB DDR
AGP, ATI 9800, TV-Out/DVI, Retail.
Any one know if the mem on the card is 2.8ns?

It say that on the site but I was under the influance that
the 9800pro is 2,8ns

Under the influance? Hope you weren't driving at the time!

The Pro is clocked to ~337.5MHz, 2.86ns memory is rated to 350MHz. 3.0ns
RAM is rated to 333MHz, so yeah, all Pros SHOULD have 2.86ns RAM.

Some of the early 9800 non-Pro cards had 2.8ns ram. The newer 9800NP cards
have either 3.0 or 3.3ns ram. If you can look at the card, look for Samsung
and a -28 after one of the numbers on the ram chip. I doubt there are very
many 2.8ns non-Pro cards out there anymore.
