That's what I have on my 4400+, it's a great cooler. The highest CPU temp
that I've seen is 40C, that's with both cores running at 100%. I'm doing a
place and route right now, 1 core 100%, the other idle, the temp is 36C.

I have the 4800+ and am using the Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu on it. Temps
are in the 35C range. It actually runs pretty cool and is very quiet.

I also have another machine with a single core 3500+ in it, which I
think is actually hotter. At any rate, I found that the stock AMD
cooler does fairly well with temps in the 38c range. (I'm actually
using a Zalman FAN MATE 2 to slow down the fan a little to reduce
noise.)

Both motherboards are the Asus A8v Deluxe, but I doubt that makes too
much difference.

Regards,
Larry

I'm running the stock AMD cooler on mine...and it never goes over 50C with both
cores fully loaded...
