samsung ml-2250 laser printer memory
I was ready to purchase a brand new Samsung Laser Printer #ML-2250
until I noticed that it comes with only 8mb installed standard memory. I thought ok, just purchase a memory upgrade until I went on the web & found that 64 mb upgrades cost well over $250. is this for real? is it an error? 64 mb upgrades for other laser printers are well under $100. all replies welcomed! samsung ml-2250 laser printer memory
Hi Aaron
This is sad but true. Genuine Samsung memory is quite expensive. Another option though is to look for some aftermarket memory chips. A quick search on Google turned up this: http://www.memoryx.net/salaprmlme8.html I don't know what they are like but it looks a hell of a lot cheaper. James Sodor www.whatcartridge.com |

James Sodor www.whatcartridge.com Aaron, I can second that statement. I even asked a Samsung customer rep about this pricing when I had to talk to them about a printer service issue. He say, "yeah, we know it's a lot." --lady margaret thatcher-- |

Dear Lady Thatcher: was the problem with the third party memory
solved? Who was the supplier of the memory that did not work (maybe working now)? I would like to know, should I be tempted to purchase from the same source. sincerely, Aaron |
