Default Faulty camera ?

Hi,
Boy am I having teething problems. On my first cctv camera the night LEDs
did not work. They replaced it within a few days no problem. I have just got
the replacement working and I noticed a shadow on the right hand side. I
have taken a snapshot.

This is the CCTV camera

I am using it on a PC and I have tried this on the TV and it is the same.

Any idea's ?

Thanks

Did you try moving the cam in a different direction? It looks like something
is in the way of it. Can you open the cam to see if a wire is blocking the
rear of the lens? If the cam has zoom capability try a different zoom
distance.

have a look inside the camera front just behind the glass,, wrapped around
the lens itself is a rubber washer type thing that stops reflection from the
leds from the glass cover getting into the lens.

if this washer for want of a better word isnt aligned properly you can get
dark spots around the edges,

easy fix open the cover and adjust as nessecary remembering that when the
dark comes if the light leaks it will make the night image
unwatchable.(reflections everywhere from the leds).

if thats not the case then disregard this info lol...

http://82.27.65.180:8080/ similar thing here with my cctv... bottom right
camera is very similar to yours with washer fitted tight against cover with
no night light leakage. it is really pitch black out there on a night and
the night vision or infrared leds to be technical do a brilliant job. you
can aso se this camera in the bottom right image floating on a night above
right of the downstairs window.

Atfer all that I broke the blooming thing. I took off the lens cap and all
these parts fell out and no matter how I put at all back the picture is not
very good.
