Default XF86Config changes???

Hi,
i have Redhat8 with LILO as bootloader.I want to install new drivers
for my video-card(is Riva TNT2 M64 but linux see it as RIVA TNT2).
My driver is "nv" and i change it to "nvidia".
In README-NVIDIA.txt it say that i must remove the following lines,
from /etc/X11/XF86Config:

Load "dri"
Load "GLcore"

At the end of file there are these lines:

Section "DRI"
Mode 0666
EndSection

Question :
I must delete them or not???

Thanks

No you can leave the:-

Section "DRI"
Mode 0666
EndSection

this is not what the nvidia is on about...

you only need to remove the

Load "dri"
Load "GLcore"

if they are present in the:-

Section "Module"
Load "type1"
Load "dbe"
Load "freetype"
Load "glx"
Load "v4l"
Load "speedo"
Load "extmod"
EndSection

Part of XF86Config or XF96Config-4 depending which one your system uses by
default.
