Default pixelation on GeForce MX4000 and dual HP 1940s

Gurus,

My dual flat panel monitors (analog connection - the GeForce card
doesn't have DVI) look great in "Clone" mode -- when they both show the
same display. However when I enable Windows' "Extend my desktop onto
this monitor" option, or use NVidia's "DualView" mode, image quality is
terrible! Graphics become extremely pixelated.

I'm using 1280 x 960 resolution, which looks great with only one
monitor connected, or both connected in "Clone" mode. Native resolution
for the monitors is 1280 x 1024 but even that is really pixelated in
"DualView" mode/Windows' "Extend my desktop" option.

If the card had DVI connections, I could set the scaling to "Display
adapter scaling" instead of "Monitor scaling", but those options aren't
available for this analog-only card.

TIA,
Deborah
