The Northbridge could be an 845G for example, at least based on this old chart. http://www.intel.com/design/chipsets/mature/index.htm The place to look for drivers would be: http://downloadfinder.intel.com Use the menu on the left hand side of the page. Select Graphicsesktop_Graphics_Controllers and then select your Northbridge type, like 845G. That should lead you to a driver. If you download this tool, and select the "Mainboard" tab when executing it, the "Chipset" field will tell you the Northbridge. http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpu-z-138.zip There is an example here of a CPUZ window, where the Northbridge is Nforce4. http://www.maximopc.org/images/artic...-Mainboard.jpg Paul |

With that little information that you have, all you can do is install the
VGA driver. And it sounds like that works fine. -- DaveW ---------------- "Aido in Ireland" wrote in message oups.com...
