Overclocking in F6 BIOS for GA-K8N Pro
I have found that some people have had success using third party programs,
mainly ClockGen, to overclock their GA-K8N Pro SLI. In ClockGen, for me, I went into the BIOS first and set the CPU down to x6 and the memory down to 100 speed. Boot into Windows and run Clockgen and it freezes if I try to set the HTT slider to anything over 208. Any tips on how to use the BIOS, ClockGen, or Easytune to overclock is welcomed. This guy - http://www.planetamd64.com/index.php?showtopic=12967 - Got his A64 3000+ up to 2506 MHz so there must be a way, I'm just too green to figure it out. I've been searching the web and forums of several sites and haven't had success. Other specs: PSU: Aspire 500w CPU: A64 3200+ Venice RAM: 2x512 PQI DDR 400 2.5 3 3 7 HDD: 2x WD Caviar SATA2 120GB in RAID 0 VGU: connect3D x800GTO TIA -- Chris |
